BUSINESS APPLICATION ANALYST (6157)


You are responsible for maintaining and operating a portfolio of peripheral applications mostly in a technical perspective. Focusing on Windows and Unix based systems, within the business applications team and liaise with the infrastructure team whenever necessary

-          Contribute to business applications implementation projects

-          Provide technical support to users, from issues solving to users training

-          Documenting procedures and knowledge in general

-          Handling the end-of-month procedures

-          Operating applications and performing administrative task

 

Requirements

-       Minimum 7-8 years overall IT experience3 to 4 years general experience in the domain of financial services, preferably private banking with basic understanding of Capital Markets Operations

-       Very good understanding of IT related practices and processes (e.g. ITIL, PMI, Agile)

-       University education or further education in Computer Sciences

-       Flexibility and a good team player with the ability to blend in a multi-cultural team

-       Excellent communication skills in English (no other language is required)

-       Fast learner, self-starter and ability to work independently

-       Technical knowledge: - Microsoft Windows 2008 and 2012 incl. scripting and Powershell; - IBM AIX incl. Ksh scripting; - Sybase Adaptive Server 15.x or Microsoft SQL Server (reporting services and integration services a plus)

-       Experience with at least one of the following applications:

  • Triple A (preferred) or Finantix or PRM or Fircosoft or GTExchange

-       Familiarity with scheduling and monitoring tools

-       Microsoft IIS (WebSphere Application Server is a plus)

-       iSeries (AS/400) experience is a plus
