ASSISTANT PRIVATE BANKING (Latam)
Our client is a leading global banking institute with a branch in Switzerland, they have fantastic opportunity for an experienced
ASSISTANT PRIVATE BANKING (LATAM)
- Supporting Private Bankers and assistants in Brazil, Uruguay and other LATAM countries:
- Liaison go-between for commercial area of the different countries and operational departments in Switzerland
- Manage and trouble-shoot challenging situations which the local Private Bankers and Assistants have
- Cash Management
- Banking transactions/orders input and/or validation of Trades (Bonds, Equities, Derivatives, Mutual Funds, Forex, Structured Products, etc.)
- Instigate Payments/Transfers and/or validation
- Credit proposal (analyze client portfolios)
- Credit card management
- Receive/greet clients when they are visiting the Swiss office - Migration process
- Follow up of missing documentation and any other issues concerning the account
- Control of incoming assets and cost prices
- Weekly contact/meeting with Brazil and Luxembourg to follow up the Migration
- Statistics of the migration Account status - KYC input
Requirements:
- MUST HAVE Good financial market and product knowledge
- Commercial Bank Apprenticeship or Bachelor degree in business administration or finance
- MUST HAVE at least 3 - 5 years experience in Private Banking in a similar role
- MUST HAVE Advanced level of either Spanish or Portuguese (spoken and written) and very good English
- System knowledge
- Ability to adjust and react quickly and prioritizing tasks
- Ability to work under pressure
- Strong communication and inter-personal skills
